About

We are the Baker family, est. in 2014 and in the making since 2010. I (Jessica) am lucky enough to call Park City, UT my home. Growing up in Utah gave me my zest for adventure and love for the outdoors. My husband (Ross) is happy to call New Hampshire his place of origin. He too had a love for the outdoors from an early age which eventually brought him to Utah to ski the "Greatest Snow on Earth". We met in a bar through mutual friends, as most do in a little ski town, and the rest is history!

For years we’d been talking about escaping the perceived American dream and actually living our true dream of spending more time together as a family and traveling. We can't even remember when the conversation started as we've been talking about it for so long! In August 2018 we put years of talk into action to make our dreams come true. We bought a 35 ft. 5th wheel RV, traded in my beloved mom mobile for a 3500 diesel Ram, rented our home, downsized our belongings, and made arrangements to work remotely. We hit the road full time in 2018 and lived in 300 sq. ft. with our two kids and four cats.

In 2021 we received exciting news that a new little Baby Baker would be joining the fun and decided it was time to put down some roots. After seeing the majority of the US and some of Canada on our RV adventures, there was only one time I said, “I think I could live here.” So, we moved to that place and now call Hood River, Oregon home!

Since 2022 we have been loving life in the PNW as a family of five. The forest, the coast, the mountains, there is nothing else like it. We try our best to take full advantage of our home through hiking, skiing, biking, and camping. Whether we are home in Oregon or taking the traveling circus on the road, we try to soak it all in as much as possible. Thank you for joining us on this adventure that is life!
