The Best Hotels in Hood River, Oregon
Hood River is an absolutely wonderful place to visit. We felt that so strongly that the first time we visited while camping in Hood River, it didn’t take me long to look around and say to myself, “I think I could live here!” I am now so happy to say I do live here and love seeing visitors enjoy this special place as much as I do. No matter the season, or what type of getaway you’re looking to have, Hood River is an idyllic place to visit.
Planning a trip to Hood River and not sure where to stay? Thanks to our visits to the Gorge before living here, and now with family and friends visiting us, I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know several lodging options in town. Here are the best hotels in Hood River, OR.
Best Western Plus Hood River Inn
Hotel Overview
Never did I think a Best Western would be at the top of my favorite hotels' list, but thanks to the Best Western Plus Hood River Inn, here we are! The Best Western is my favorite hotel in Hood River and is always the first place I recommend to visiting friends and family. The hotel is located directly on the Columbia River, one of the only riverfront lodging options in the Gorge. The footpath along the river provides easy access to the entire Hood River Waterfront as well as downtown Hood River. The heated outdoor pool and hot tub area is so great that locals rent rooms just to have access to it for a few days. Riverside Restaurant offers some of the best breakfast, lunch, and dinner in town plus a killer wine list and lounge. While the rooms themselves might remind you that you’re at a Best Western, they are clean and comfortable and the hotel will make you feel like you’re at a luxury resort. While the Best Western is great for anyone visiting, I highly recommend if you're visiting Hood River with kids.

The price of hotel rooms at the Best Western Plus Hood River Inn is going to depend on the time of year, the type of room, and whether it has a river view or not. Rates at the Best Western Plus Hood River Inn generally start around $113 per night for a queen room, with king rooms slightly higher, starting at $192 per night.
